Thank for you being a part of our Annual Support Campaign: Democracy’s Next Generation!
Creation of an Assistant Director position for the program: While Youth In Government has and always will rely on dedicated students, families, and volunteers to maintain its student-run, student-led process, expanding the program to new areas of the state and increasing our capacity for new delegates will require additional staffing at the state level. Our new Assistant Director will work with our current Executive Director to continue our program development and expansion, as well as help to coordinate fundraising and out-reach to program alumni.
- Creation of a YIG scholarship fund –Democracy’s Next Generation: This fund will serve to provide scholarships to qualifying delegates for our State Assembly and Junior Assembly, as well as other programs such as our Summer Leadership Conference and Florida’s delegation to the YMCA Conference on National Affairs
- Donate!Whether you choose to be a Fan, Representative, or member of the Duran Society, your help is truly an investment in the future of your community and a commitment to preserving the program for generations to come.Donations may be directed toward a specific program area, event, or group.
