Youth Engagement Projects

Developed by the 2004-2005 Presiding Officers and Chapter Presidents, these projects were selected and cultivated, in order to create a well-rounded, year-round program.

Each Chapter is encouraged to complete a project based on each of the YMCAs Areas of Focus - Healthy Living, Youth Development, and Social Responsibility – and submit them for recognition.

• Projects are optional, however, Chapters will have the opportunity to submit reports on their projects and be recognized at the State Assembly.
• Community partners, civic organizations, and government entities should collaborate with local Chapters to plan and execute projects

Projects will be promoted each program year and will be tailored to the needs and current events or our state and communities.

Presiding Officers through their officer training and Chapter presidents through the Servant Leadership Conference will have oversight of the final projects and their direction.
